Darby Orchestra eNewsletter #2, Sept. 24, 2013–Spaghetti Dinner Concert information

Our annual Fall Concert and Spaghetti Dinner is Tuesday, October 8 at Heritage Middle School–just around the corner!  In this eNewsletter you will find an attached Spaghetti Dinner order form, a link to sign up to volunteer, and details about the evening’s events.

DINNER:

The Spaghetti Dinner order form can be found by clicking here:

  This form was also sent home with your child in hard copy form.  Please return your Spaghetti Dinner Order Form to school with payment attached no later than Monday, September 30th. If paying by check, please make payable to “Hilliard Music Boosters.”

VOLUNTEERS:

It takes MANY volunteers to make this event run smoothly.  Please click on the link below and volunteer to help during the event and/or provide a dessert.  There are many options for volunteering–we hope that each family can find something which will work for you!   Please don’t be deterred by not wanting to miss your child’s performance–we schedule enough volunteers that everyone gets a break to see their child!   Link below……

DETAILS FOR THE EVENING: Please read carefully!

Required Attire for Orchestra Members:
Heritage MS
Cadet- Plain white dress shirt, plain black dress pants/skirt and tights.  Black dress shoes and black socks.

BOTH Concert Orchestras- Plain black dress shirt, plain black dress pants/skirt and tights.  Black dress shoes and black socks


Darby HS
Concert- Plain white dress shirt, plain black dress slacks.  Black (closed toe) dress shoes and black socks.

Symphony- Plain black dress shirt, plain black dress pants.  Black (closed toe) dress shoes and black socks.


Schedule: 

All Darby performers and Heritage 
Concert Orchestra Members who have purchased dinner will eat BEFORE they perform.  Heritage Cadet students will PERFORM FIRST, and eat dinner afterward.

5:30:  Heritage Concert Orchestras Report to HMS and Eat, then unpack and tune by 6pm

Heritage Cadet Orchestra also reports at this time, but eat AFTER performance.

5:45:   Heritage Cadet Orchestra Report to Stage  (Eat AFTER performance)

5:45:   Darby Orchestras Arrive and Eat, unpack and tune by 6:30.


6:00:   Dinner served for concert guests

6:30:   Concert begins
