Welcome Back!

It is a pleasure to welcome everyone in our Darby Orchestra family back to school! I hope all of you had a fun, restful summer. I am very excited about the new school year and our orchestras here at Darby High School! Handbook, fees, online information

All orchestra students have a copy of the Darby Orchestra Handbook. Students are asked to share this information with parents; an online copy can be found

.

 

A second packet given to all orchestra members contains the orchestra Contract, which is to be filled out and signed by parents and students, along with permissions for use of online audio/video, fundraising, a method book order form, and school instrument rental form (this last only for students renting a cello or bass from the school). This return packet is due Friday, Aug. 30; a PDF of it can be found

Lastly, parents are asked to

You may also pay Booster fees on Charms (click on the link). Your initial login is your student ID number. Further instructions can be found in the orchestra Handbook.

 

Uniform fitting

All students will be fitted for a formal orchestra uniform; this year’s fitting night is Thursday, Sept. 19 from 5 to 8 PM. Students should stop by the Orchestra/Choir Room any time between 5 and 8 pm to be fitted and issued their uniform and garment bag.
